About the Event
Brooke Olivia is a Missoula-based musician and lead singer of rock band Wild Prairie Smoke. She studied contemporary vocal performance at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, as well as classical voice at the University of Montana. Her previous groups include High Voltage and Fate's Fortune, and she has opened for bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Pop Evil, and The Young Dubliners. After forming in 2019, her current band was voted 'Best New Band' in Missoula. Brooke's vocals have been described as "haunting and raw," as she sings primarily in the metal, rock, and soul genres.
This intimate speakeasy show will comprised of stripped-down, piano-driven versions of her favorite covers, as well as some original music.
