STAVE & HOOP
Locally owned and operated, Stave & Hoop is a Missoula speakeasy that pays tribute to the storied history of 223 N. Higgins, built in 1896 by the Garden City Bottling & Liquor Co. The basement, once home to whiskey barrel storage, inspires our name: the staves - wooden slats and hoops - metal rings binding them together.
Today, this legacy is reborn as an intimate, modern speakeasy offering meticulously crafted cocktails, fine wines, local beers, live music, and elevated bar fare designed to complement the ambiance of a true Prohibition-era retreat.
